Indonesian nickel smelters group says new price formula provides operational certainty
Indonesia lowered the corrective factor used to price low-grade nickel ore, reducing feedstock costs as well as related taxes and royalties. Smelters said the change should improve HPAL economics, while miners called for monitoring of its effects on prices, volumes and state revenue.
